> QUALITY ASSURANCE

Precision Gear Incorporated is a mature medium sized company, which started business in 1936. Precision Gear Incorporated is able to create, make and market product to cost effectively satisfy the needs of customers throughout the world.

Precision Gear Incorporated is a conformance-to-requirements organization. We have, therefore, established a climate favorable to quality so those conditions that are adverse to quality are prevented or receive early detection. Non-conformances are corrected to prevent recurrence. We continue to build on a culture of continuous improvement, customer satisfaction, and people involvement. Our operation can support customer source inspection visits, audits and surveys.

The Quality Manual, downloaded under "Referenced Files", is applicable to all Departments within Precision Gear Incorporated. Due to the diverse nature of products and services provided within a given area or among several areas, specific Procedures and Work Instructions are developed to facilitate implementation and control of the quality, and compliance with the Quality Manual. These procedures are prepared by the issuing departments, reviewed by the Quality Manager for compliance, approved by Management and released through governing procedures for Document Control. Procedures and Work Instructions are controlled documents.

When conflict arises between a customer's contractual requirements and the specifications in this document, the former takes precedence provided, in the opinion of the Quality Manager of Precision Gear Incorporated, they do not lessen the controls established herein.

Precision Gear Inc. developed and implemented a quality management system to demonstrate its ability to provide a consistent product that meets customer and applicable regulatory requirements, and to address customer satisfaction through the effective application of the system, including continual improvement and the prevention of nonconformity.
